Great start!!! You are correct, consistency is key. Try not to do it all using will power alone. As you look at the foods that you eat, you may find some have too many calories. Look for alternative foods that fill you up with fewer calories to make it easier for yourself. This site has lots of good ideas. Best wishes.

Congratulations on starting. You can do it. There are so many successful individuals on this site who are just like you. We did it, we continue to focus on being healthier, and we support each other. Consistency is definitely a key.

Another key for me is logging everything I eat, even when I overeat. It keeps me honest with myself and helps me know what works.
