Diario de Sherillynn, 21 jun. 11

We gor some much needed rain through the night. My little garden needed it and so did the corn. I am back in the swing of things here: getting up early in the morning, having my MIM and my coffee and just enjoying the quiet time before work. The drive is beautiful. The roads all wind around and there are cows and calves everywhere. I think Iowa and Minnesota must be what heaven is like.
Every day I realize how blessed I am. I don't even feel like I need to look far for all of God's goodness. I am so undeserving and yet here, in this little corner of the world, I literally have everything my heart desires. Thank you Lord! Its a beautiful world you've created.
My FIL, came through his knee replacement with no complications. In his words though, "I just don't know how to be sick." He's having a hard time sitting still and recuperating. Slowing down is a difficult concept for him. I suppose that it would be for anyone but my in-laws have NEVER let any grass grow under them and at 80, they can still outwork folks half their age. Amazing, kind people. Another blessing in my life that I am thankful for each day.
Count your blessings friends! Its an amazing exercise to understand God's love for us.
