I am in a work out rut!! I'm tired of walking around my neighborhood. I've been walking 4mi every morning. Then I started a walk/run exercise where I would run for 1min and walk for 3min. The last few times I did this I noticed that I can run longer than the 1min, maybe even 2. Which isn't too far fetched because we used to run in the Army all the time. But that was 7 years ago. Anyway, I want to keep doing the walk/run exercise, but I'm tired of going around my neighborhood. I can't go anywhere else because I exercise in the morning before the children wake up. Anytime after that, it's way too hot outside, and the children will be with me. So I haven't done my walk/run in a few days. I've been working out to my fitness tapes instead. So now I have to find a way to get out of this fitness rut. I have set myself a goal to try and be 135 lbs. by my birthday, which is Sept. 30th. I'm not going to get there being in a rut.

You seem to be doing lot's of exercise and are most likely in excellent condition, maybe hold back a little more on the calories and the goal of 135 pounds may become more easily attainable. Thanks for your support Puggie.

How about jumping rope? That would be a little change, and you would not be far from the kids.
