I lost less than a pound this week, but I at least lost something! I hadn't cooked in a while. I think that consequently I've been off the weight loss wagon but at least on the maintenance one. I'm still happy that I'm back down to the 150's, but my real goal -- at least my present, short-term goal -- is to get to 145 lbs., 20 pounds less than what I weighed at the end of last November. I was at 145 at the end of 2012 and it felt awesome to be there. I feel like if I get to that number, I'll truly be back where I was on my journey before I fell off, and I'll be able to continue losing weight and getting to my ultimate goal of having lost 100 pounds.

I've already thought of a perfect reward for myself. Once I get to 145, I'm going shopping!!! I'm in dire need of clothes, especially shirts!! I only have a handful right now. I'd love some skirts too, especially since I only have one!! Shopping was never really something I enjoyed. Especially since I would go to stores and find that my size was nowhere to be found. Or, if my size was in the store, it was on some horrible pair of pants that looked even worse on me and made me feel ever ashamed of my appearance. Can you imagine the happiness I can find now in going to buy clothes? It's very fulfilling. I know that those also recovering from morbid obesity know what I'm talking about.
I cooked up a storm last night and have plenty of healthy meals for the week. I'm hoping to lose 1-2 pounds by this Friday. I am positive and hopeful about this! This is going to happen!!!
