Does anyone else see poor sleep as a challenge to weight loss? For me it’s been a tough week for sleep. Stress is up and I tend to have less willpower to avoid snacks.
87,1 kg Disminuído hasta ahora: 5,9 kg.    Aún para ir: 7,8 kg.    Dieta seguida: Bien.

Insufficient sleep will absolutely slow down weight loss! If I don’t get enough sleep I am excessively hungry all day, as my body tries to get the energy rejuvenation from proper rest from food. (As explained by family doctor.) There may be more to it than that but there’s no doubt that a proper rest is vital for weight loss, and for brain health, longevity, and who knows what else!

Absolutely! When I have really bad sleep patterns, I completely stall out. You can lose a lot of weight during extended sleep but almost nothing with limited sleep. Speaking from experience and research. You might want to try Melatonin. It doesn’t do much for helping me fall asleep but it generally helps with restful sleep. When I have bad days at work, I take it and it helps my upsetting dream patterns mostly. Not always but when I don’t take it after a bad day, I’m guaranteed rotten dreams.
