Well, for the first time in this whole journey - I have gone UP! Granted, i'm only up .3 - but it's still up.
3 steps forward, 1 step back...tomorrow is the start of a new week, and I can make choices to help the scale go down by next week's weigh in :)
On a positive note:
I found out that i'm working on Halloween (surprise, surprise), and i've been trying to figure out what to dress up as (even though i've been told i'll probably be the only person dressing up..but whatever!). I work at AC Moore (it's a craft store), and when I was doing returns last night, I stumbled across a mask on a stick that you can decorate as you'd like. I have these bridesmaid dresses in my closest from weddings i've been in, and I decided to try them on today to see if I could wear any of them with this mask. Well, much to my DELIGHT - out of the 4 dresses, I could only wear 1 -- the other 3 were ALL TOO BIG!!! :) Even though they're beautiful dresses that I wish I could wear again, just the fact that I can say I can't wear them cause they're too big is pretty darn GREAT in my book :) I'm going to look into selling them at a consignment shop or something - at least that way, someone else can get some use out of them. But - yeah - YAY! I was so excited!! Especially since I remember how depressed when I was fitted for them...being the largest girl in a wedding party is no fun! Lord willing, I will never be that girl again :)
