A big victory to start May. 1.6lb weight loss and lowest weight since I started the fasting/post fast journey. Had a very long walk yesterday which helped maybe. No BM at all. They seem to be an every 2nd day event now where I used to be every morning like clockwork. Maybe thats the weigh it will be now that I'm eating differently, etc. Speaking of every 2nd day, today is my calculated cheat day so I won't be weighing in until Sunday again. And probably continue that every 2nd day weigh in going forward. I'm too scale reliant and waiting for that number everyday is too stressful.
My breakfast today is 3 strips of bacon and coffee as I'll feast later. I'm still savouring the new found taste for flavours, eating slowly, chewing. Just bacon, is a gift. I see why a thicker bacon cut is best. You just get so much more taste. Glorious!!!
Lastly today to note, I had a glass of a sweet summer wine yesterday but to temper the macros and my intake I diluted with sparkling water and it was awesome! I did try a small sip without. Way too sweet now!!!
I won't ever be able to completely give up sweets..not should I. Miss out on too many good things in life, but either diluted..or just a taste, is the right way.
Speaking of. I tried a teaspoon of Swerve in 16 ounces of lemon sparkling water. Just that hint of sweetness is perfect for me. I have found my new drink! I'm going out to buy 6 big bottles tomorrow😁 Happy Friday!
