Diario de Herbie, 17 sep. 08

I've been away from the fatsecret community for a few weeks (seems like that is how I've started all my journal entries lately!) but am maintaining and doing fine. I get my daily walks in and am enjoying the crisp fall weather. It's starting to be illness season in my family, though, and we're all down with a bit of a cold or cough. What a drag. We're trucking along, though. We also lost power for 12 hours or so earlier this week b/c of the wind and storms. Honestly I'm glad it wasn't worse for us, and it makes me thankful for what I take for granted every day. My heart goes out to any of you who may have been affected by the storms!
