am going through some very hard times and feel the need to eat,have been eating better, no breads and limiting sugar. Still a long way to go. what can I do to curb the stress and better manage my eating habit.
78,5 kg Disminuído hasta ahora: 0,9 kg.    Aún para ir: 15,0 kg.    Dieta seguida: Bien.

I am so sorry you are facing so much stress. Your eating can either make you feel better when you are taking care of yourself or make you feel so uch more stressesd and defeated. You are losing! You are doing things right for yourself. Just keep doing what you are doing and keep track! Like you mentioned you are doing, limiting sugar, breads, and processed stuff helps me feel so much better. This is fruit season! Eating healthy, satisfying whole foods helps me feel so much less stressed. I have so much in life I can not control... All the people in my life and the circumstances that overwhelm, so feeling in control of my diet does help me a lot. HANG IN THERE!

Stress in problematic. Change what you can, accept what you cannot. The bottom line is, and you obviously know this, putting on weight will just increase your stress. Good luck!!!!

@Kb1277, I see you signed up for the "Summer Keto Motivation Challenge" that starts tomorrow, aiming for limiting carbs to 20g/day (I assume that's "total" carbs) and consuming at least 70% fat. This is "strict keto." Not to discourage you, if you're up to it! However, being under a lot of stress may make that more "challenging" than you're up to. I find that "strict keto" absolutely requires planning in the Food Diary, every day, at least a day ahead. This may be too much to expect from yourself... [CONTINUED]

@Kb1277, I think you're on the right track by eliminating bread and limiting sugar. Simple protein servings are good when you don't have the time or inclination to cook. Even in a fast food restaurant, you can get a bacon cheeseburger and not eat the bun. Other good choices: canned tuna, chicken, salmon for quick salads. [CONTINUED]

@Kb1277, last thing: Keto-friendly berries are in season, and you can always get them in the freezer case at peak quality if you don't have time or money for fresh. I like adding very-low-carb, real-cream, Reddi-Wip to mine ("Original," "Extra Creamy," or "Light" are all 1g fat, 1g carb!) It makes berries feel like a decadent indulgence. That might help ease your stress. I hope this crisis passes as quickly as possible!
