You're right, you CAN do it.
Sometimes it's overwhelming to think about the total amount of weight you want to lose; try taking it just one week or day at a time. So instead of focusing on 14 pounds in nine weeks, think "just 1.5 pounds this week." Or think about making today be a great day and worry about tomorrow tomorrow. This has helped me when I feel overwhelmed.
