Today...I broke a habit. I have a weekly lunch date with my husband. I'm sooooo dang good with my fruits and veggies until we go out at that time. I'm not sure if I've justified that it is 'lunch' so I have time to work off the extra calories...or what. I usually order good things, but of course, he doesn't...so then I'm tempted and I'm weak apparently. :) Today, I threw some veggies on the grill and packed them with me. When I picked him up...he was like, you brought your lunch? I was like...yup. Saving up for our trip to Kauai in the Fall. So not only did I actually save $ :) I had no temptation to eat what he was having. MIRACLES happen!
I'm eating things that are in their natural state. So if it looks like it grows..I'm good. I do use olive oil from time to time...salt and pepper...but I'm impressed with how good I feel. Even if weight is slow to come off. My heels are healing too. So I'm anxious to add the extra workouts in.

The veggies are making a huge difference. I feel such clarity. I don't feel foggy.

I'm feeling really good. Had a slip up yesterday...had dressing on my salad. I noticed I had more cravings later in the day than I have had in the past week or so. Veggies are great. Need to find more varieties and recipes to keep it 'fresh'.
Spring garden is in and is a good distraction from the pantry. Not working out on the elliptical with all the weeding and yard work I do in my spare time. But, apparently scale is still kind to me! I want to break 200!

Chocolate Chips - are evil! Aside from that weak moment, I feel great that I'm eating so much 'real' food.

Enjoying the colors and varieties of veggies/fruits the last while. Yesterday, completely eliminated any processed food and dairy. I was AMAZED at how good I feel. I'm happy to leave the protein shakes and move on to whole foods that help me in that area.
