This has been a tough month - March usually is with my work - month end, balancing budgets, etc. I feel like I've gotten away from my personal goals to pour myself into "the routine". The snowy, icy, cold weather is a bit of a factor too. I was out for a walk last week with my 3 1/2 yr old grandson. We'd been to the park to play on the structures and swing (all in deep snow!). We made the best of it - he had a blast. He couldn't slide down all the way since 1/2 the slide was covered in a blanket of white. As we were walking home again, I commented to him "I can't wait for all this snow to be gone" - and he answered "Amma, I love the snow". That was my reality check. I had to answer him that he was right, and I had a flash memory of how I complain about our "too hot" summer days. From the mouths of babes - that little man is constantly teaching me.
I will forge onwards - treat my body well with nutrition - we are what we eat. Keep trying. I got on the scale this morning since I hadn't done a weigh-in for some time and was astonished to see a slight decrease. I will take that as a positive and keep going forward knowing that spring is around the corner and bike-riding in the horizon. Happiness and Love to all.

I was sick and in bed for most of the last few days. Didn't record my diet or think much of it for awhile. But hopefully this week I'll get back to work and back to a good routine.

End of February, tomorrow I start with my challenge friends the "lose 7 pounds in March". I went off track a bit today, had some drama after work - resulted in having to get home late and grab some fast food at Tim Horton's. I try to avoid picking up any fast food - but I didn't want to skip a meal, that would be worse. Friday tomorrow! The month of spring.. great things around the corner wait - for us all. Goodnight :)

I'm back up by 4 lbs. This would make more sense to me. Monday Monday, blah day - but trying to fit in some exercise today. Some squats, ab rolls and lunges while watching tv. Will weigh in now on Sunday evening and will try to keep the weigh-ins to every week.
