My goal with this journal is to make myself more accountable for the foods I eat and for how active (or little active lately) that I am. I'm at a decent weight for my size and height and I actually do like my body for the most part. But eating healthy isn't just about weight gain or loss. For me, its about enjoying my life when I'm a really old woman and feeling good doing it. I do the occasional half-marathon with training and usually regret it. I serve a couple days a week and get some exercise there. But for the most part, I'm not nearly as active as I was during my early college and high school days. I also have the mindset of being able to eat whatever I want, whenever I want just because I usually don't see any effect on my body. My weight is very consistent, other than I'll lose weight easily if I'm not careful. What I hope to gain from this is to add muscle and tone up more, be more regular with exercise so that I don't hurt myself running anymore and to eat healthier.
