Ok. Either I am not doing sdomething right or what my mom said is true, your body has a certain weight that it is supposed to be and when you reach that wieght, you stay there. Either that or I am at that age where my metabolism has slowed WAAAAAYYY down. Geez, I thought that I would at least be below 140 by now. I only have 5 days and 15 pounds, there is no way! Well, maybe I can lose at least 5 more, I am crossing my fingers!!!!

Ok. I have lost about 3 pounds! I think that once I am past that 140 mark I will be sooo ecxited. I am trying to keep busy doing other things instead of snacking like I used to. With the family coming, I have so much to do, so I think that it should be pretty easy. So much cleaning and stuff to do that I can find ALOT of tasks for myself. I only have 12 days until they get here and I am having a hard time believing that I can lose any more, especially what I want to lose. It would be a miracle!

ok. My husband is in sooo much trouble! He made out a grocery list of all the things that I need to buy for when his sister and cousin are here. this kind of GREAT Italian food is what made me gain weight in the first place! And on top of all of this, I have to go buy things for Thanksgiving, UGH!! I know that if I lose the weight that I want to by the time they arrive, then it will be ok for me to eat a LITTLE of what they cook, and at least they do not really use butter and they do use alot of veggies, but they also use alot of cream sauces and such! If I can make it through this visit, I can do anything! They will be here on the 18th, only 16 more days to go until I have to try on that dress, but I did measure myself yesterday and with all of the exercise, I lost an inch, YAY!!

Ok. now is the time for temptation! Friggen Halloween anyway!!! my kids got so much candy yesterday, but, the good thing about it was that I had to walk, for 2 hours!!! so 2 extra hours of exercise!!! My new exercise video arrived yesterday, my friend swears by it. It is the Carmen Electra aerobic striptease videos. I hope they work. Of course, I have neverseen a fat exotic dancer, so maybe. . .
and of course, I am sure my husband will appreciate it as well. LOL
I am going to be good about the candy. usual Halloween tradition, everyone got McDonalds last night, and I was very well behaved, I didn't get anything, and didn't even snack on the fries, YAY, instead, I came home and watched everyone eat their Big Macs and Chicken Nuggets while I ate sauteed green beans and a green leaf salad. I actually think that I can do this!!! We will see, I am being positive!!!
