Feeling less emotionally motivated in my eating habits this week. Strangely, just the awareness that I can ask for help with this in prayer and have the choice to make good choices every day has done more than any self-harm could do. I was sitting around last week beating myself up every time I made a mistake. I think I'm learning that prayer, reading, and action bring self-control and that in turn brings better results in terms of sticking with a diet plan. one day at a time, though. let's keep it up. today I haven't felt like I was motivated to eat any meals out of anger, sadness, or anxiety. that's a nice feeling.

no emotional eating today with the exception of my small cup of breyer's ice cream at 8:15. felt sad, anxious, and angry because Matt scolded me at Passim. direct quote: "can you not stand there while people are coming in?" no please, which is what set me off. however, kept my portions under control, which I am proud of.
report back tomorrow. :)

Hey yo!
I wanted to record some beginning facts for myself so I can refer to this page when I need reminders.
For fitness:
-core workout 3x a week
-weight workout at least 2x a week
-cardio 5 days a week for an hour and a half each time (includes spin classes)
For food:
-RDI is 1800 calories per day
-goal is 300-500 calories in the negative per day
-eat at least 150 grams of protein per day
-eat lots of chicken breast and veggies!
Fun fact:
you need to lose 150,000 calories in order to get to your goal weight. :)

Hey y'all!
My personal trainer recommended this site to start losing some more weight. I've hit a plateau and I think the way this website breaks it down will help me to be more faithful to my healthy eating habits. Can't wait to get started!
