Not a bad diet day. kind of hungry at my VERY late 3rd meal. Could have stayed with one serv9ng of meat, but I didn't and had 2 servings. still pretty close to carb/cal goals.
I'll get better results if I could keep the meal times more consistent and not eat at bedtime!

Not doing too bad until tonight at a social event (cookout). Didn't go over on carbs but smashed my cal, fat, protein numbers to bits with this one evening meal.
Let us now see what the penalty turns out to be in LB/BG....

Guess it's time for me to say something here. Have reached another plateau after a refreshing rate loosing 7 lb. Now I'm sitting with, 1 up, 1 down, 1 up.....
I know that if I stick to my eating plan it will end with more progress soon. Just have to be patient and persist! Haven't had any real breaches in the plan, so it should turn up (that means down) in a day or so.
Thanks all for support, good loosing if that's the goal....

I know! Friday was going to be my weigh in day but guess I have an ego when it comes to loss. Besides breaking the 200lb barrier this morning was too tempting even if the total for the last 3 days seems unreal. So, I recorded it. 199.4 First time I have been here in about 2.5 years. It is due to getting comfortable to eating at 50g carb range and tight control of ALL portions. My diabetes coach will scold me for not having 30g 3 times a day! Oh well, this seems to be working on the LB and BGs both. About 10 points down on BGs and I feel as good as I have for a LOONG time.
Thanks all for support and sharing.....don't give up...if you have, it's never too late to come back until the last bell has rung......

Said a couple of days ago that we will see what the scales say.
Well, this morning they showed a 3lb loss. That scared the @#$^^ out of me so I didn't record it as a weigh-in. Those big losses followed, inevitably, by regains depress me.
So I'm going to give it a little slack.
Still not doing too bad, overall, with the diet but still around twice the carbs as my goal. Guess I need a new strategy to get the carbs to 50g. Not sure, right now, what that will be but I'm still pretty happy with the LB loss and BG numbers drops so far.
