Haven't done a single strength workout this week. Will get one in today and another Sunday. Three strength workouts a week is usually non-negotiable, but I have really struggled this week. It's been freezing, I've been a little under the weather physically and mentally, and crazy busy on top of everything. Work is hectic. Babysitting tonight and a family celebration tomorrow. Yikes...

I have undone most of the damage from Saturday. A shared breakfast, which in itself was fine, but I allowed it to become a cheat day. It wasn't even worth it. Just mindless eating. It didn't help that I was unwell, and not in a good headspace... ..yet another course of antibiotics
I chose not to log my weight yesterday, I had gained 1.8kgs overnight 😱
The trouble with cheat days is they tend to rollover into the next day and easily become a cheat week or more. I reflected on how I could have done things differently and I'm in a better headspace today,
l gor my strength workout and meal prep done and will be doing zumba after work.
I am also taking aloe vera which is certainly doing the trick in that department. Thank you for the tip Jay Poppy.

Had a shared breakfast after our community exercise class.... oh dear
Let's just say I'm going to eat light and move a lot for the rest of the day..
Split the day into 4 parts, early morning, late morning, afternoon, evening,
If you have a "less than ideal" morning, don't throw in the towel and write the whole day off. Start again late morning and turn things around,
Don't let a bad day turn into a bad week.
Fail small, not big and remember...
Failure is nothing but a temporary setback.

Another rest day yesterday. Feeling under the weather. Also been working long hours, but will make sure I get a strength workout done tonight 💪
