So I went to Weight Watchers today and weighed it... I have to say I was VERY shocked at my true weight! I last weighed in at the end of April at 184.6 and in less than 3 months I have gained just over 10 lbs! That is crazy, but I won't pretend that I don't know how it happened.
She reset my weight and now the fun (fun?) starts all over agian.
(woo.)
I want to shock my co-workers next time I see them... and I know what I want to wear to meet the teacher night at the end of August... I probably need to lose at least 10 lbs to make it look good.
I can do it!
On another note, we are planning a Vegas trip at the end of this month... a road trip none the less... so I will have to pack fun-delishious-healthy snacks. And no stupid buffets!!!
Ok, that is all.

I am one of those people who are always trying to get fit, but has trouble overcoming her love of lounging and addiction to eating. I can lose weight when I try, but it's been a struggle all of my life. Even as an active kid whose parents lead healthy lifestyles and didn't provide junkfood I was heavy. I was blessed with a curvy body so I never look as unhealthy and overweight as I actually am, but I seriously need to tone up my curves and lose weight.
I am married to a great man who loves me just like I am, which is fantastic... except he is stick thin and loves to eat more than I do. He encourages me to do what makes me happy, but makes it hard because he doesn't join me in my 'battle of the bulge'.
I am turning over a new leaf and giving myself a deadline. I have signed up for a half-marathon in November. It would be unrealistic for me to set a goal to run it, and I know I could complete it now... but I want to do it well. I want to be able to walk, jog and run; and feel good while doing it. I am also starting to teach 3rd grade in August... I would like to set a good example for health for my students, and not feel tired and run-down by the end of each day.
I just want to be happier and healthier!
I want to lose 20 lbs by the beginning of school this year, August 23, 2010 and 40 lbs by November 14th- the day of the Rock n Roll half-marathon.

I have been doing Weight Watchers on and off since 2006... I lost 25lbs the first time, then my then bf, now dh and I went through a crisis(for lack of a better term) and I became quite depressed. I gained the weight back and then some. When we got married in 2009 I managed to lose 10lbs, but quickly put it back on and of course... then some. I am now up to 190lbs and need to stick to my guns. I want to have babies in a few years and I need to be healthy myself before I want my body to support and grow a healthy baby!
