Well, a new month has arrived and still 15LB away. Short term fluctuations in weight still catch my attention but don't cause depression. My Blood Glucose numbers, though, are showing an over-all decline which promotes a positive attitude about my 'low' carb fare (not real LC in some peoples book but good for me). Still have the goal of 50g carb/day. Yesterday it was derailed by cake/icecream (small portions) at an anniversary celebration (for me!). It was one of those events (not wedding, or birthday) that I just had to celebrate, but still didn't 'overdo' it (my opinion).
Wishing good low numbers of all sorts to those that desire them....
PS: At the end of the day I'm only a few grams over my carb goal of 50...
Didn't remember it being this intense to get carbs this low....
Let's see what the scale and BG meter brings tomorrow morning......

Well, I kind of blew my goal of under 50g of carbs today and last 3 days.
Just have to watch those little buggers more closely. Wouldn't notice the problem if not for the honest food log. I was tempted to go over even further but putting my thoughts into the food log helped me cut back from the really bad dinner. Still went over but saved some....See what the morning's scale says and work smarter.
Don't see how you people do it on 20g of carbs. I tried 18g (Bernstien) a long time ago and thought I was dying. Not sure just how long I was able to stay on it...maybe 4 weeks? I got talked out of it by the Diabetes councilor at the VA. I may have to try his WOE again since I can't seem to make much progress with weight and BG. Bernstein(sp) is really 'black belt' when it comes to LC diet.

Finally found a path off of my plateau. Now to follow the path.
Seems to be: no sweets, not a nibble! Restrict carbs to under 50g/day! Tight portion control! Stay out of commercial eateries!
Maybe also helping: No diet sodas, increased water intake (still less than some recommend).

Still stuck on my plateau. Carb intake is way above a lot of recommendations for diabetes. Need to do some carb cutting as well as cals.
At end of day, I felt good about a new, more serious, approach. This is working toward 30g of carb and very tight portion control with on protein. More raw veggies and seafood. Now see if I can maintain. Can use all the help/support I can get.

Did much better on diet yesterday. Came in a little under the RDI. Have to be patient since I'm not seeing the scale readout going down. At least it didn't go up.
Going to cut the calculated RDI to something like 1600.
