I cannot get my android devices to sync properly with the main website. No matter which of the two sync options I choose, I am losing data. Am I missing something? Not only that, but the android app keeps logging me out!

Hi! I am back here after a LONG time away. I had a year full of emotional eating, and gained 10 pounds. So, now I am back with 30 to lose. I also tried out Sparkpeople, but I think this site seems a bit more personal for some reason, though I think all the major websites have their strengths and weaknesses. The android app for this website didn't used to work on my phone, but now it does, so I can log when I'm out and about, which makes me SOOOO happy! WooHoo! I really want to jump in and make some big changes and get some results, and stop making excuses!

It has been a TERRIBLE day and week for my diet, but I had a major interpersonal breakthrough with someone today, and feel like it brought a great deal of closure to my life about some events that happened in the past. I feel like a weight was lifted off my chest! So, instead of beating myself up for what I ate today, I am going to CELEBRATE THE GOOD, and start again tomorrow.

I have been eating a ton of carbs, fat, and eating way too much in general over the last week, and I am up 3 pounds. The latest round of emotional eating was triggered by leaving a church where I was one of the worship band leaders. I was at the church for seven years. It really hurt to leave, but I did not approve of decisions that were being made and the way people were being treated by leadership, so I HAD to go. A good chunk of my social life revolved around participation in the church that I just left, so it is hard. There are also a couple of people that I THOUGHT I was close to that seem reluctant to talk to me now. It is sad, because this was NOT a decision that I took lightly, and I did everything possible to remain there even when some crazy things started happening. It is sad when people turn on you over a decision you didn't even feel like you had much of a choice about, but I guess you find out who your true friends really are!
My eating binge must stop TODAY. I am out of control right now. :-(
