Today I've realised very acutely that in order to stick to all of the physical activity I have planned I need to always establish a clear plan, I cannot say "Oh today I'm working out", I need to set a time slot for it and a specific type of exercise too. I am really glad that I got that gym membership a year ago, I've put it to good use and I'm going to use it even more starting today.

Today, the plan is to go to 5 different group classes, but knowing that I can stop after the third or the fourth one if it gets too much. That's a total of about 3h30 of exercising but it won't be all of the same intensity and it won't be all cardio obviously so I should be able to deal. I'm quite excited to try Zumba Burst and see if I actually find it challenging because I've always liked Zumba but always missed a little bit of challenge.

I am in a genuinely good mood today although I did eat really unhealthily yesterday. Today is another day! I am having pasta for lunch but I definitely do need that before such a long work out and I'll have lean meat and avocado after I work out. I'm already so excited about it :D

The first picture was taken two and a half years ago. I weighed approximately 52kgs (114lbs). I was not at my lowest weight but I was at a healthy one. However eating was still difficult for me. I thought I was huge because my brain was f*cked up.
The second picture is me now (granted I was at practice so I am not wearing make up or flattering clothes and my thigh is taped making it look like it has a weird shape). Between those two pictures there is a good 13kgs (28 lbs) difference, and that is HUGE considering that I am very short (151cm, I think that's 4'11).

My goal weight is even lower than what I weighed in the first picture. I would like to go under the 50kgs bar and weigh about 45kgs (99lbs). I would be at a healthy weight and would also probably be able to achieve an important goal of mine. I am a cheerleader, and the flyers, eg. the ones we throw in the air, are the shortest, lightest, most flexible girls on the team. I am very flexible and very short so if I was a bit lighter I would definitely be able to try out as a flyer. I do love carrying too but at least trying to be a flyer is one of my motivations to get healthier and slim down.

However, I will not do that at the expense of my mental health. I worked hard to recover from 10 years of absolutely terrible eating habits and I am not ready to throw that out of the window. I will exercise a lot because let's be honest, I'm an allstar cheerleader, I love sweating and lifting and exercsing. I will eat HEALTHY because it's good for my body and I also genuinely like healthy food. But this is a pledge to not starve myself or resort to any other means I have resorted to in the past.

2017 will be the year I get back to being comfortable in my own skin.
