Joined 10-15 lb weight loss challenge. If I can lose 10-15 lbs, that will put me 1/2 way to my goal. I am optimistic.

It is TOM for me and I am only 1 lb up from last week so I am excited. I am not going to officially weigh in with measurements until Sunday 8/3/08. I hope to be down enough to keep me motivated. But 9-10 lbs in a week is really a large enough motivation.
I am going on a cruise in April of 09 so I have to be down to my goal weight or lower. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, down 10 lbs since Sunday. My bf is on the diet with me this time and it is much easier to follow when the other person in the house is eating healthy as well. He hates anything healthy so this has been hard on him but he is trying to lose weight so he is dealing. I hope he can stay on it with me.

So, I am on phase 2. I am not losing any weight and I am a bit frustrated. I am going to eat more calories than I have been lately to see if that is the problem.
Just a thought but my RMR (resting metabolic rate) is showing that I shoul deat about 1700 calories to stay at current weight so if I cut it down to 1500 and add a 2.5 mile walk, I should be able to lose a lb a week. I am going to see how this goes for a week or 2. If still no progress, then I am out of solutions.
