Below is when I started-now its all about keeping the weight off and maintaining this way of life which is quite challenging. You cant think once its all over you can go on a binge to make up for all the times you said no. You have to keep going with little treats in between so that it becomes a habit. My new goal is to get fit and toned and work on my muscles-because I feel so good now! I used to have low energy levels and my blood pressure was a bit high for my age but now I just have so much more energy physically and mentally and hope to keep it up!


That moment when you see a recent pic and wonder how did you gain so much..thats what made me stop procrastinating. I began end of April on a mission to slim down, so far so good. The pivotal point was weaning myself off constant fast food and junk and incorporating an exercise routine which mainly consists of those dancey aerobic videos, with some Yoga. I also do a few 5k-10k walks/jogs and it feels so good to be out in the fresh air.

I try to eat as healthy as I can, adding fruits, veggies, brown bread and lots of water and slowly it has become habit. Ive realized that you just have to do it when it comes to exercise, and in the same breath its also okay to take a break when you are exhausted or fluish. Also don't rob yourself of treats, they keep you going and stop you from bingeing. Goodluck to all on this emotional journey
