Diario de fallingoff, 31 ene. 08

10am - I didn't like my breakfast today. I decided to try something new - warm brown rice with honey, Smart Balance, and almonds. Usually, I have something like this but with oatmeal instead of brown rice. Well, the brown rice is no substitute. I feel a little hungry. I might eat some yogurt or just sit it out for another hour and have an early lunch. I want to make sure it's physical hunger and not boredom hunger.

Don't know what kind of things you like for breakfast, but I've been taking breakfast ideas from a magazine. Important to have a little protein for the food to stay with you. Maybe add some egg whites or 1/2 c of low-fat cottage cheese. Congrats on your progress so far!

Thank you hml1022. Almonds was a source of protein this morning but if the taste factor isn't satisfying, my body wants something else. I usually have either egg whites, lean ham, nuts, or yogurt as my protein. If you like yogurt, have you ever tried straining it or eating greek yogurt. It's more concentrated protein and is thick & creamy like whipped butter. It tastes so good to have this plain with a little honey. Big favorites of greek yogurt is Fage but it's expensive and sometimes hard to find.
