It sounds like you are not very commited. I know it seems really hard and everyone has weak days. You have to remember to take it one day at a time. The fat flush plan is not really a diet, it teaches you how to live a healthy life. Thats the key! You have to want to be healthy. it's like they say with smoking or other addictions, you can't force someone to stop, they have to want to do it for themselves. Once you get into a routine of exercise and eating right you will notice a difference. I never thought I could have nice legs but I knew it wasn't impossible. I work on my legs a little here and there and I finally can see definition, they are finally toned. It feels amazing when you achive your goals! You just have to set reasonable goals. Maybe your first goal should be to decrease your sugar and caffine intake. The Fat Flush book says to ween yourself off of these things befor you actually start Phase I. Start adding more fresh vegetables to your meals. Then in a week or 2 extend your goals. Take baby steps. You are most certinely not going to lose 80 lbs at once! Try to lose it in 10 lb. increments. You can lose this weight! Try to keep up your spirits and remember that losing this weight may help you live longer (perhaps to see some grandbabies grow up). Good luck! You can do it!

You are toooo funny....Chocolate through an IV....LMAO....You CAN do this darlin....we're all here doing the same thing you are....
When I first started....I would have hmmmmm....can you say "binges"
once a week or every ten days....but you know what, I got past those....and I'm not sure when it happened but I now am eating healthy out of habit....I am certainly conscious of what goes into my mouth....and the effect that it will have on all of my focus and dedication thus far....I don't want to go backwards...and keep losing the same pounds....I'm kickin 'em to the curb....forever!
And you can too....aas Skitz said above....baby steps....focus one just a couple things at a time....and grab onto something else the next week....In a month....it'll be second nature....See you on the track....the RACE is on....HAMMER DOWN....! GO BLACK Porsche's

Thanks! I was just having a REALLY bad day. For the most part, I really enjoy fruits and vegetables and that is the staple for my diet. My real issue is that stupid caffeine! (and chocolate once a month) :) I'll just keep plugging away. This is my year to get healthy!!

hiya :) re your weight record.. you can change weights in the past with a bit of trickery: go to enter an historical entry the day before you started the diet.. and enter the correct weight. Then you can edit the weight you entered incorrectly on the first day ;)
Yep, it is a way of life.. be prepared and have all your snacks and ingredients ready for meals so that you have enough to eat and not be tempted to then buy something on spec. Also ensure you have enough time set aside to prepare meals.
I also went cold turkey with caffine, and a couple of other vices i had. To be honest it wasn't hard for me, i just decided i was going to stick it out, without them no matter what. Not so much discipline, as initial motivation and purpose. The number of times i didnt give up previously is because i lacked sufficient motivation to really change.
All the best with it :) I dont like "diets", but this one (way changing ones life) actually makes sense and is working for me. Cheers

I'm doing alright so far...I have been really good the last couple of days and it hasn't been all that difficult to change my eating patterns. I haven't given up the juice - lol - but I did go from 1 can to 1/2 a can...I'll keep cutting back from there. I'm VERY sleepy - isn't it crazy how many chemicals we put in our body that make us feel like crap without even knowing it? I went grocery shopping with my sister the other day, who is very thin and what I always thought to be a very healthy eater. She was picking up pre-hard boiled eggs that are treated with chemicals to keep them fresh and SO many other "healthy" convenience foods. She ended up spending twice as much on her grocery bill just because as she was waiting for me to read every label, she'd end up throwing more stuff in her cart! LOL

My year is going great! Been to the dentist twice (once for a cleaning and once for 2 fillings - I was actually pleased thats all that I needed!) I was BRAVE!
I picked up a pilates video last night and started this morning - I LOVE IT!
I stretched yesterday and felt really good - I have to remember to go post about it. I'm so bad at navigating around here - I know it's not because it's difficult - it's only because I don't allow myself enough time to really explore.
I hope everyone has a great Valentines Day!
