Today I begin another weight loss journey. I have considered the gastric sleeve surgery but know that if I don’t deal with the issues of why I eat so much, then I will eventually gain back whatever I lose.

I have struggled with my weight since I was 6. I don’t drink or smoke and don’t really have any other addictions. Food is my go to for everything. If I am happy, I eat. If I am sad, I eat. If I am angry, I eat. So, it’s time to find another way to deal with my emotions.

As I discipline myself to eat better, I know I have to discipline myself to deal with my emotions better.
