Social times get me too. I have been working on going into them with a game plan of what I will eat and drink, so far it has helped. If I am going to over do it I am trying to keep it under what I normally burn for the day.
On a side note, in your adventures, have you come across the Darebee website? They have RPG workouts that look like fun. I'm still exploding the site myself, but I thought you might get a kick out of it.
