Yesterday absolutely sucked! I had to go shopping for A dressy even this coming Saturday, and although, even when I was slimmer, I didn't much care for dresses, this was a nightmare.I spent all day long, looking for something, yearning for something that I might look half way decent in...it was so crushing to see myself in those dressing room mirrors, pathetically trying on clothes. I seriously felt like crying.
I finally ended up with a plain black pant suit(one size larger than I thought I was) and a nice blouse. I feel as if I will look like Im going to a funeral rather than a happy event:(
Im really having a down day today...even exercise is not appealing to me today..I just want to sit and never show my fat face out in public again.
This too shall pass.

Try a bright scarf or wonderful jewelry to spice up your outfit. When I am feeling chubby and things don't fit...I love accessories because size doesn't matter when picking those items out. Hang in there...soon you will be looking back on this event with a smile on your face because you have reached your goal and look great in everything you try on! :-)

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience, but I can say I feel the same way. It seems like with the clothes nowaday cater to one size range. I have come to the point that I don't even enjoy going shopping for clothes, let alone with my husband with me. It is a big ordeal. But I have come to realize that this is me. Don't let this experience make you feel like this. I am sure you would look great with the suit on, and who cares what anyone has to say. You have your husband at home and that should be all that matters. I hope you have a much better day today, and remember it's not always about your physical appearance that most people see.

Thanks so much Roleba64 and Selena.I got through the weekend in my chubby suit! I did dress it up with a bright green tank and some nice jewelry but let me tell you, when I reach my goal(notice I said "when" not if) I am only wearing black when I want to, not because it hides my fat..well, somewhat anyways.Lol!
Selena, I am so right with you on the shopping thing..I hate it! Do those darn mirrors in the fitting room lie I wonder or am I really that big? Ugh!!! This too shall pass!
