Welcome to my world that's what I have been to cut down is my carbs I didn't know that there in most every thing until now ,I guess I just didn't notice them before until now .

carbs are NOT the enemy!!! We NEED carbs even though everyone is different we all have the same basic design and carbohydrates and our #1 source of energy, if you deny the body carbs you WILL go out on a binge later

@NurdyChick -- Your body needs essential fatty acids. Your body needs protein. Your body does not need carbs. There is no such thing as an essential carbohydrate. I regularly deny my body carbs and instead eat obscene amounts of fat... and I've never felt better in my life.

Oh yes, NurdyChick is right, I need about 10g carbs day, in the form of unprocessed cacao and/or low-processed very dark chocolate. Not for energy, just for my sheer emotional sense of indulgence. It's not denial of carbs that causes bingeing, but sense of deprivation and denial of enjoyment. HF is very satisfying. Try it! ;-)

Hello! Just ran across this group and would love to sign on. I've been embracing the LCHF approach, since having read Dr. Atkins: The Diet Revolution in early 1970s. Unfortunately, I'm the YO-yo King and am subject to inappropriate post-LCHF carb binges. Would love to connect with you like minded folks. Thanks.

Carbs are the best source of energy and are just calories like any other calorie. You will lose fat in a calorie deficit even if 100 percent of your calories came from cake. Please learn about nutrition.

Don b hatn on carbs. They're energy and you need them. Be nice to yourself please. Enjoy some fruit, vegetables, and beans (in moderation of course).

Of all fruits, strawberries seem to be the safest on a LCHF. I think blackberries and blueberries are next, but they're both triggers for me; grapes are the ultimate triggers and have launched many a bingeathon.
