Well my life certainly has changed after this week would normally reward myself for working hard in a spin class with a bag of chips and a Diet Coke (totally destroying all the good I had done) - today super excited for my Cocoa fat bomb and a fizzy water lol

I'm proud of you girly friend! Sometimes you think it "hurts" to resist, but after a little while, you'll wonder "why" it used to hurt! Keep it up, you got this, and we have you!

Tbay, support is what helps most succeed in the journey! I'm a new guy here, but in my 51 years of doing things that were/are a challenge, I've always found that ANYONE that supported me, and encouraged me, always made it better for me in the long run! We've never met, and probably will not, but I'm your weight loss buddy, and I'll do what I can to help! Your attitude is telling me that you'll succeed and will soon be an inspiration for the folks that are just starting on their personal weight loss journey! Let's do this!

You are amazing! I'm new, too, about the same vintage as CB ... and I had a diet cola today during my express manipedi. It's one of my last vices. :-/ The support here is fantastic, and the transparency of logging as well. If I start spinning again (used to LOVE those classes!), you bet I'll reward myself with pork rinds and sparkling water!

That's awesome TBU9 I have been addicted to Diet Coke since I was 17 right after it replaced TAB cola (seriously dating myself lol) figured if I was making some big eating changes I'd try and see if I could kick the artificial sweeteners aka Diet Coke - love the mani pedi idea been trying to find ways to reward myself outside of food and the on line shopping is getting a bit out of control lol thanks for your support it really does make a difference

That's the only time I have diet cola. I "weaned" to sparkling water, now can't give that up and still stay hydrated. Still have a cola sometimes at salon. (Not when I do my own at home though! Then I listen to a lecture or podcast, and drink coffee.) More often that that led me back to sugar to often. And wow, TAB, it's been a while! Knew someone whose beverage of choice, and what she handed you when you walked in her door, whether you liked it or not, was TAB with rum and a squeeze from a plastic RealLemon, on some clever ice cube variation. (Water frozen in small containers so wouldn't dilute drink.) That put me off mixed drinks, forever.

I have a TAB bottle that's FULL that I got from my grandmother's home after she passed away. She kept it for years unopened because the lid on it is Sprite. I hadn't thought of it in quite a while!

To her credit, she was super tasteful in everything else, so her cocktail of choice taught me a lot about doing whatever brings you joy, no matter what people think. Also that helping oneself to tap water is an option. Did that recently at a party where only wine was served. TAB has some expensive energy drink out now, marketed to women with disposable income and probably no history with the original.

Sits actually CBs recipe equal parts Cocoa unsweetened almond butter and coconut oil - you mix it all together in a double boiler and spoon about a tbsp into mini muffin tins but them in the fridge they firm up pretty fast and then I take the paper cup off and freeze them - they are an acquired taste but I like them now lol. I used a 1/2 cup of each and it made a our 25 my calls but them at 75 calls 8 g fat 1.6 g carbs and just over 1 G protein
