I was pleasantly surprised when I got on the scale this morning. I know I shouldn't be weighing myself this often but it's so motivating to see a weight loss. If there isn't one I just chalk it up to my daily weight fluctuating. It's a good motivator especially going into the holiday season. I'm going home Saturday and I'm really trying to mentally prepare myself and have a game plan. Christmas eve is cocktails and snacks, Christmas morning there is a brunch and then Christmas dinner. So there is all of that plus my Grandmother who loves champagne which means there's going to be some Dom floating around. I have a game plan with eating...I'm still going back and forth about maybe having a glass of champagne at some point.
Anyway, last night I worked out pretty hard. It's just hard to get everything done that I need to. With my reduced caloric intake and exercise I was wiped out yesterday. I'm not sure what to do today. I have so much to do that HAS to get done today but I don't want to skip my exercise. Maybe I'll just do something less intense and later if I need it a Red Bull.

Red Bull was my best friend pre-south beach...but then I had to cut it out because of the sugar content...and the sugar free is pointless for me. Good luck over the holiday season- and I say go ahead and treat yourself to one glass of dom

I think champagne is not too bad as far as calories and carbs. Sounds good!

I weigh myself every day and believe it helps me "face the music" very quickly. I understand that this is not for everyone though.
