Well I begin again...... Starting a diet my doctor recommended. Very low fat diet, 7 grams a day, 1800 calories a day. Stocked up on fruits and vegetables and a tone of white meat and animal crackers for when the sweet tooth cravings come up.

Not to be a troublemaker here, just mentioning only in case it helps- low fat diets actually make depression worse. Fat is important to maintain stable moods. I wonder if a 2nd opinion about the low fat diet is a good idea. My Mom just had both knees replaced. Her surgeon said she had to lose 25 pounds before he would do the 1st surgery. He mentioned Atkins, which is a high fat diet. She took his advice, I did it too just to support her. It is very, very easy to lose weight on this "diet." It also is very, very healing for depression, high blood pressure, diabetes, reflux, the list goes on. You can have chocolate and dessert from day one. Its amazing. Anyway instead of losing 25, my Mom lost 60 and she still eats the high fat way today because it's easy and you feel great. Anyway- just putting it out there in case it helps. We are so grateful that her surgeon was up to date in the latest science behind weight loss. We had no idea! ❤️🌺

Some people (like moi) can't do high fat because even 'good' fat bothers kidneys, digestion, etc.. I miss Adkins... and super high protein...

I am using Alli.... I have tried everything and with 2 bad knees..... bone on bone.... I need to lose the weight to get the surgery. I did however find a doctor that does surgery on the obese but I am scared to do it. I heard that, yes you can begin exercising again after the healing process but many times you where out the new knees faster which means surgery again. I am sick and tired of trying that I finally went to her about it. She would like me to get the gastric bypass but I am also hesitant about that also. In the end I am just so tired of being in constant pain unless I am sitting or laying in bed.
