Looking for some thoughts.... I recently watched the documentaries 'What the Health' and 'Forks Over Knives'. While I can agree the American food system is corrupt, I find the "no animal products" recommendation a tough one to swallow. It's so ingrained in me. I am a picky eater and I don't think I'd survive without meat and dairy. There is compelling evidence that these things cause harm to the human body but even as a health professional, I'm royally confused. Why do people have success on low carb diets? Which way of eating is truly the. eat (not just for weight loss, but for longevity)?
