Hi all,
Quit smoking first of June. Eating low carbs, high protein. Had some issues this week with blood pressure and heart rate dropping the past few days. Had blood work done. Everything good but a little dehydrated. Cardiologist dropped some of my long term HTN meds. Ligjtheadedness and dizziness has disappeared. Will follow up with additional blood work next week and will revisit possible medication revisions.
So important to stay on top of chronic health problems while on journey of weigh loss.
I want you to know I'm not a quitter but I've given these up:
sugar, artificial sweeteners, soda, diet soda, cheese, dairy, sour cream, butter, margarine, potatoes, hot dogs, pasta, cured meats, rice, bacon, pork, flour, noodles, cake, pie, candy, cookies, brownies, corn, chips, peanut butter, snack/junk foods, ketchup, popcorn, corn syrup, veg oil, pineapple, bread, crackers, bananas, ice cream, sweetened tea, coconut, alcohol, beer, whole milk, cream, and cream cheese. I'd much rather be healthy than eating foods that keep me locked in to being obese another day!
