I had a much better day today. I walked a couple of miles to/from work (about 40 minutes total), and had a pretty good day food-wise. My breakfast, snack, and lunch were all phase 1, and then dinner (which was a meeting that happened at a restaurant) involved salmon, a salad, and a little bit of rice. I drank lots of water today, which is good, and coffee, which is probably not so good. But, coffee is one of my usual treats. No sugar, and it keeps me happy.
Not too bad overall. And, some more good days are on the way!

Good work, as usual, Herbie. I'm on a coffee fast today (I'm pretty sure it will hold as I need to balance out some excesses of the past few days). Cheers!

LOL! You misunderstood me Janelleas, my apologies that the post wasn't all that clear. What I meant to say was that I'm not eating or drinking anything today except coffee, splenda, a *little* cream, and water. It's a balancing maneuver. Just pure water would have been better though.

Haha!! Info, that was funny!! You, no coffee!! hahaha!! i think it is funny that you would rather not eat all day than give up coffee for the day!! :)

Information, I think you and I are kindred spirits with the coffee thing. I don't think I could do a water fast... but I might be able to convince myself to do a coffee fast. In fact I think I had a few of those inadvertantly in grad school in Seattle. ;-)

gracipoo: absolutely, I'll give up everything before I give up my coffee. Well, I could start thinking about tea again... ;-). herbie: as long as you have some coffee available, things could be a lot worse.
