Diario de slynn_lynn, 17 feb. 12

Well, this has been an ongoing battle for most of my adult life, and now I find myself at the heaviest I've ever been. Previously, the heaviest was 222 when I was pregnant with my 3rd child. I thought I'd never see that again, but guess what? Here I am.

I got myself a Coheso calorie counter, and originally lost about 20 pounds, but found it to be too cumbersome, to have to keep putting in the same things over and over. And it wasn't the repetitious entries, I had to keep typing on this awkward typed keypad, so that was a bummer after a short while.

I think this might actually work a little better for me this time around. I can upload the app to my smartphone (my daughter did it with hers when she got it), so I'll be able to do the entries in a much easier format.

I don't like the way I look anymore; got this extra poochy thing going with my abdomen, now it's not just a little extra in the tummy area. I wish that was my only problem, but after my divorce in 2008, I got involved with someone, (post breakup), great sex, but it fizzled quickly and I started eating all the wrong kinds of foods and drinking more wine on the weekends. Working nights didn't help, crap with the ex didn't help, all reasons to keep eating, sometimes uncontrollably.

Then, I'd diet for a month or two, do really well and backslide once again. And of course, gain more back than I lost. Lovely.
