April 19th: I wanted to go on a low carb diet but could not do the 56 grams of carbs a day I was required to do, so ended up beating myself up. I mainly have cut calories from 1200 to 1600 calories. This dieting stuff is so confusing. I read Butternut Squash is good, so I bought one...and come to find out it is high in carbs and sugar...yikes! One good thing with this diet thing, my BP and Blood sugars have never been better and my husband's is getting better also. This mornings BP was 112/64...blood sugars 104. Energy level is increasing, have not felt like even doing daily household chores in a while but been working getting things in order for last few days...hopefully get into a deep spring cleaning mood before long and scrub floors, walls and windows.
