Diario de Maureeeen, 21 ene. 12

I'm sitting here thinking. Thinking how much I love losing weight. I love looking in the mirror and thinking maybe I see a difference. I love realizing my pants are not as tight as the last time I wore them. I love getting on the scale and seeing the numbers going down. I love how I feel when I exercise and watch what I'm eating. So..... how come I wait until I'm 190 lbs to start to lose weight? I wanted to do this for about a year now so why did I wait so long? It's really not that bad once you get in the right frame of mind and break some bad habits. I'm now on my 21st day of losing weight - the hardest part is behind me. It's all downhill from now on (ha ha until I hit that first plateau!!)

Sometimes it takes that year of being unhappy to get into the right frame of mind. Every day, every little comment, little struggle... they are all just tools in your arsenal to rely on now. :) Same way, every day that you push through now will be that much more strength for when you hit the plateau. Way to go- three weeks in- you've made it a habit now. :) Have a great day!
