I have hit a stall. I've stayed at 157 for a good week and I desperately want to get to 155!! Tommorrow I am cutting down to only one sweetenr packet. I have been having 3-5 a day because of a lipton tea mix i bought. I live in the south which means sweet tea is a daily, excuse me, mealy (if that's a word) drink; and i'm talking tea so full of sugar that it looks thick. So yes, cutting out sweet tea is hard, but i've been drinking this lipton tea mix and adding a pack or two of sweetener. I will be cutting that out (grr). My mom has already lost 6 pounds in two days so even though i am very proud, i am a wee bit jealous. So Monday i will be walking and tommorrow will be the end of sweetener packets. FYI: I'm crying on the inside :,(

You have lost 13#s in 3 weeks. That is NOTHING to be upset about!!!
You really don't have that much to loose, so your loss may be slower than other people's. It is completely normal to stall for a short time after the initial weight loss. Remember that the definition of a stall is a MONTH with no weight loss, no size lost. Make sure that you are measuring. A lot of the time you may be loosing size but not weight for a period.
Good idea to cut down on the sweeteners. You are limited to 3 per day on Atkins.
Good luck! Just stick this out and you will get to your goals.

You are such an inspiration and a great motivator :) I did not know that stalling was for a month - I think I would go absolutely crazy if I didn't lose any weight for a whole month! A week and a half is plenty long! I hope you continue doing great on your diet and i hope everyone else is too!!

Thanks Denise - I'm about where I started out a month ago, maybe a few pounds less, but I have lost pant size. Also, it is a new weight scale too, so there may be some more pounds there that the old scale had too low... I am following strictly and did this and lost almost 13 lb. in a month very easily a year and a half ago, and now it's not happening. At least I know I'm on induction - and madeline don't worry, you're getting there really fast. This diet really is the best in my opinion...
