The early morning hours of Dec 27, 2009, Northampton, Mass. (my hometown) was terrorized by an arsonist who set many fires. It even made national news. Two men - father and son were killed in one of the house burnings, numerous dwellings - nine I believe were set ablaze with many more attempts. Thankfully, an arrest was made last night, a young man in his mid 20s who lived in the area. It felt like the town was under siege since the fires, and now that there has been an arrest we can all feel a bit safer, though I live in a large concrete/stone building so wasn't too concerned. Anyway, I thought I'd update this news in case anyone did briefly hear about the fires in New England... Glenn
