Yet another "Day 1" back on the lower-calorie wagon.
I had my gallbladder out a little while ago, and then had to go back to hospital for 9 days after complications.. and then since that has been over, I have been eating in that completely blind way with all manner of excuses to enable my constant eating including: - The popular "I'll eat better tomorrow" - "Just one more won't make a difference" (yes it will!) - "I'm thinner now, so can afford to slip up now and then (Now and then? Really?) - and maybe the worst "I am breastfeeding so I need heaps of extra calories" - which has been a situation I have taken massive advantage of. I guess its like overeating because you went to the gym or something, and can "afford" the extra calories.
And I think, behind all of this is a bit of tiredness from the baby, and maybe a touch of boredom in the off-times during the day, and a bit of loneliness as well. And Of course all of this goes away temporarily with that wonderful dopamine release from eating all the wrong things.
