Today I am officially inducting myself back onto the Induction team with 20g net carbs/day.
I need a REBOOT (which I usually do at 40g net carbs -- a "comfortable"-feeling dietary intake and "comfortable"-feeling rate of weight loss (i.e. slowish). And, not coincidentally, an alarmingly "comfortable" place from which to start a slow and gentle carb creep).
I have to be a little uncomfortable for a while. Not much luck here lately with doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. That's defined as insanity, right?
Food.is.fuel. Food is NOT a tool with which I can continue to harm myself, one bite at a time. Food is NOT simply entertainment for my mouth and distraction from my thoughts and feelings. Food is NOT my friend. Food is NOT something I can just think about later, knowing that for me failing to plan = planning to fail. Because when later comes, the decisions are infinitely harder to make in the face of hunger/convenience/pain/sleepiness/celebration/anger/loneliness/the misalignment of the stars/phases of the moon/time of the month/etc/etc/etc/etc.
