Not going to worry about adding about 1/2 lb over the last couple of days. I think I was really dehydrated and feel a lot better after having some chicken consomme with a good amount of sodium past two days. I had a whopping headache until I did, and then like magic, it disappeared. To have lost 8lbs in my first week is a MAJOR success. Now comes the real battle. Careful, thoughtful food choices, controlling portions all week. By the end of this week. I hope to see the scale log in at 155.5 :-)Which would amount to 10 whole pounds in 2 weeks. My interim goal on this journey is to get to 150 lbs and then drop the next 15. Once I get to 135. I might try to lose a few more and hit 128... We'll see. Baby steps in a long-term effort for a lifetime change!
