Diario de jerrymiller, 14 feb. 16

another valentines day spent alone (does hanging out with the bird count?), did some yard work but still too muddy out there, drove down to buy more black powder and caps, even tried to go to movies but that star wars one has already rotated out...did treat myself to a carl's jr cookie though; woo-hoo!?

Don't feel like looking at scale today...maybe moose lodge breakfast and a scooter ride or go shooting will help me feel better.

I know, but there are just too many reminders around (not V day) of what romance is...I miss those feelings of attachment, it depressing and gets hard not to hit the "comfort foods" (beer, munchies, sports broadcastings, etc.. like a guy version of wit the brain shifted to "N"), imagine a guy version of sitting around in your pj's eating cookie dough ice cream and watching depressing movies...

You're a good dude, Jerry. Hang in there. There are many, many lonely people in need of attachment out there, and most of them are in relationships. Ironically, you're not alone in your loneliness. You've got a good group here who can sympathize, I'm sure. I know that doesn't soften the blow, but I'm hoping your day is spent looking forward with hope. We're here for you, buddy!

I hear you, Jerry. It's definitely a depressing and crappy day, but you have your bird, and we both have good friends here!

What do you shoot? My dad used to own an old Navy Colt. It was a blast. (Yeah, you get it.)

I want to go to the Moose Lodge. What are they serving for breakfast?

Each lodge is a different, but generally all the classic stuff...eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, biscuit, gravy, eggs to order, I've seen French toast, coffee, teas (iced & hot), chicken fried steak, etc...for me the usual is eggs, bacon, a sausage, today I brought from home 2 slices of Mahler low carb soy/flax bread and grated parmesan cheese. I indulged in a brass frame Remington New Army Cap & Ball .44 cal revolver Christmas gift to myself last year, but I have a Lyman Graet plains Hawken .50 cal in lefty flintlock with the Lyman great Plains .50 cal cap pistol (single shot)...I've been 'into' black powder now (geez, what? 20 years?!, after selling off my SCA Armor (a dozen years getting hit with sticks!) and leaving that do to being gutted by a drunk driver) but haven't shot for the last 5-6 do to my old and then the motorcycle injuries and family duties...
