That is wonderful, loved reading your post. Ive taught many things from primary SS to adult basic education and GED Prep classes for the local college. Homeschooled my kids thru High School Graduation. Now teaching ladies bible study every Wednesday, tho I didnt volunteer for that job either! Never felt *called* to teach but apparently it is what I do, LOL. Kids and dogs are the best people on the planet. They gravitate to you bc you are a good soul. I love that you stopped to play with the little ones on your walk! That is awesome and what life is about. Enjoy those spur of the moment joys of life ❤️ 

Thanks @Windy Day. I always had the view that I could never ignore a child. That's from age 0-18. Teenagers seem to like me as well. If we connect, you've got my attention. I plan to graduate him from highschool as well. Happy I found a free site that helps me do lessons for him and the library is awesome at helping me get the standardized test so I can make sure he knows what's needed. You are so right,that is what life is about. I'm so thankful to have my family and be with his father. I never thought I would have a child of my own but I always knew if I did, I wanted it to be with a good man who would love us both. I hope we both continue to enjoy the spur of the moment joys of life for may more years to come. 

Oh boy you sound like me! I remember when I was 12 I was babysitting for 4 kids ages 3-8. Their moms were divorced and sharing a rent so I watched the 4 of them often. The kids took a liking to me and bc we were neighbors they were always wanting my attention. I remember the Greek mother, Effie saying to me youre so good with kids she said I bet you have a lot of children one day. I said oh no, I dont plan to have any. She laughed. I went on to have 5 of my own, same dad. She must have known something I didnt, lol. You are blessed to have that husband and family to give you many happy years to come together. Enjoy every moment of the way, it goes so fast. 

We do have some similarities. I also babysat since I was 12. I had a neighborhood troop I would collect in the morning and then drop off in the evenings hahahaha. It was 20 of them from age 5-10. I had 3 friends who were siblings of some of the others. We would stop at the summer program food house eat breakfast then go play. Come back and eat lunch then play again. This happened every summer when school was out. During school, I worked at the library after school where I read to children. People thought I was going to have a child-type career and said I would be a good mother. I would say not right now. Took me 34 yrs to have one. (I wasn't trying for it tho hahaha) We were together 3 yrs before my beauty came. Thank you again. Yes, I feel like I blinked and he's about to 8 already end of this year. I'm going to blink again and he'll be 16. If I didn't have the pictures and carried him myself I wouldn't believe it. LOL (just kidding that's how humans grow teehehe) 

Birds of a feather! :) Oh they DO grow that fast! Im almost empty nested now, only one left at home! I wont know what to do with myself when she flies the nest!! Being in a stable relationship and having that time together as a couple first really helps I think, so your little one came along at the perfect time for you. My son is a godsend. He was my first then 4 daughters came along. If it werent for my son Id be up a creek without a paddle since husband passed. Hew really helps me so much. Enjoy that boy of yours! Cars come waaaay to quickly...LOL 

AHAHAHAHHA!!! So true. Right now it's video games. May your hubs rest in peace. Glad your son stepped up and helped you out. It's so great when your children cherish you. I do hope to keep a strong bond with him through adulthood. My hubs hopes he continues to look out for me once he's gone. He's close to 14 yrs older than me.  

Im sure he will. You have a nice family, and raising him well, I can tell. Homeschoolers are good peeps. Video games are good! My son went on to become a mechanic after scaring me sowing his wild oats racing. My husband was 6 yrs older than I.
