I did the responsible thing and upped my calories by 400. It's hard for me to stay right at 1800. My mind thinks I'm binging and wants to eat more even though I can be full on 1400. I guess even though I was and was getting well over enough protein my body thought I was in starvation mode. I didn't know that my BMR is what my organs used to function and not the lowest amount of calories that was good for me. I was eating 1200-1400 calories with a weekly average of usually just under 1300. When my workout routine got more vigorous and scheduled I wondered why I was so tired. It felt like I was moving through mud. After doing some delayed research I realized I should be eating between 1800-2000. I felt weird doing that but I can say I feel slimmer than before! How is it possible I wake up feeling slimmer after eating out the day before? It boggles my mind but I really have been pushing it hard at the gym, which I've never done before. I have more energy now and feel happier, even though the recent addition of carbs into my diet feels wrong in my mind, I'll listen to my body for now.
