Diario de jprunty, 04 oct. 09

Day 3 its early am, but sticking with it. was going to go run this am, but its really cold out there. 32. when haven't ran in a while its hard to get out there and have your lungs hurt so bad.
Have had a busy summer, got out of swimming and 2 weeks later soccer started. All three kids are in soccer so we are at it mon, tue, wed, thur, and saturday. That gets over just as we go to mexico. then looks like basketball is going to get cancelled this year, no money in the park and rec department.
Figured I'd jot something down just to keep myself going and not makeing pancakes for breakfast and eating them all. lol

I can not say I blame you with not wanting to go out in weather like that! :) I have trouble going up to the farm on days that are cold myself so I can empathize. :)

I'm not looking forward to running in the cold, either! Good job avoiding the pancakes this morning.

As someone who has been on Atkins many times for long intervals I just want to offer you a word of caution on strenuous activities. You may find that you run out of energy faster. Your body will have to pull fat out of storage and covert it to usable energy. Before it could just use the carbs you had in your system. Give your self extra time and you may want to start out with shorter distances until you see how you are handling it. Good luck! This is a great diet but it does take some adjusting to get used to it.
