As for my gym time, Cassie has a follow up vet appointment on Tuesday so I'll most likely wait until after that to start up again. I overdid on Monday night anyway and have some pretty serious tendonitis in my left shoulder and right knee. I'm prone to tendon and ligament issues so I need to allow some time to let the tissue repair anyway. At this point, my muscles are responding to the weight training better than my joints are. I've always had joint issues way back since my Army days and have a VA disability because of it. Between that and my dog, I think I need to slow down a bit and allow for some recovery time. If that doesn't work, I may just have to focus on lighter weights and increased reps so that my joints can keep up. Not quitting; just rethinking my approach.
