I saw a post from Asarver about her new shoes... (cute btw) got me thinking that maybe I could get some opinions on whether or not the shoes I am thinking about buying will work for me. They are not cheap and can only be ordered online so I want to be as informed as possible. I need a wide toe box as my feet are wide in that area
The shoes are called No Bull. I want the trainer+. Are the durable and are they true to size are my other questions. In athletic shoes I usually size down 1/2 size. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks to all!!💜

I have never heard of that shoe brand. ASICS have a wide toe box that works for me. The shoe type depends on what kind of activities you do and do you have a definition of what a “trainer” is. Are you a runner, hike, walker, tennis player? These are all different shoes. Walking shoes are a specific shoe, there is a general “all terrain” shoe that can take you from pavement to a dirt or lightly wooded trail. Do some research on shoe types for your chosen activity. Look for arch support, ankle stableization, sole flexibility. Consider buying the best you can within your budget range. Personally I use MERRELL hiking shoes because I do some rough uneven terrain and our ground is limestone based so slips easily. I use ASIC all terrain for most other stuff. I have a couple of pairs of VAN’S when I’m regressing into my surfer girl mode.

Kenna, I wear Merrill's as well for hiking/ camping. I need trainers as they are meant for weightlifting, CrossFit, tabata type workouts that I do. I usually wear Sketchers because they are wide in toe box but trying to see how No Bull compares. Thanks for advice, I've never tried Ascics before. I'll check them out as well.💜

Diana1234– got it. They cover your gym activities. I did go into their website the words came up but no graphic. I’ll try again later.

I love NoBull shoes, I own a few pairs of the regular ones (great for crossfit), not the trainer+... I wear size 38 in normal shoes, but 38.5 in sports shoes... my NoBulls are also 38.5... lots of space for toes :)

Do they offer free returns? I'd advise finding their size guide online that shows their shoe size in cm and measure your own foot to get the best idea of what size you need. Normally for athletic shoes you want to go half a size up because your feet swell with activity.

Altra is also known for their wide toe box, and there might be stores around you where you can try them out 🙂

Wirecar, thank you for info. It helps to know. I saw a girl at the gym who had them and also asked her. She has the pull on ones and said go 1/2 size down. I don't think I'll do that though.💜💜 Asaver, I am checking site to see about return policy. I hope they do have free returns but I have a feeling not. I haven't heard of Altra but I'll check it out Thanks!💜💜

Asaver, I did look online and they do offer a free 60 day return. That makes me feel better.👍

I love Nikes Metcons for lifting. Great, flat and sturdy shoe. I feel that are wide at top too. Nothing is pushing or squeezing

Lowlife, I cannot wear Nikes. I have tried all styles but I have pretty messed up feet so they just don't seem to fit right. Thanks for the info though!👍💜

Lowlife, I just went to Nikes website and checked those shoes out. They do look wider in tie box than most Nikes. I'll check them out at Nike store. Thanks again!👍💜
