I have done slimfast and still do occasionally. I lost most of my weight this way. I like to put a frozen banana or ice when I blitz it as it makes it thicker. I sometimes mix the flavours as well choc/cafe latte, banana/choc, strawberry/choc, banana/strawberry etc. I found them quite filling and it helped me keep control. Hope it works for you. x

I've never tried them but it might be a good short term strategy for you Heather until you get your longer term strategy worked out. Gives you a bit of breathing space til you can get your head in the right place.

I only like the slim fast chocolate shakes that you make yourself I blend it then pop it into microwave for 1.59 secs ( far too precise I know 🤭) and have it every morning as a nice cup of hot chocolate , I have done this before and lost three stone eating a calorie controlled diet alongside . I then had my knee replaced and now find myself starting again as I’ve been quite restricted since having it done comfort eating got me through the pain 🤦🏼♀️Good luck I hope you find the answers that are suitable to you

Thank you, n soowot what a great idea, I hate milkshakes so the strawberry one was a challenge but iv since been introduced to caramel and if I warm it up it'll be more of a treat for me than a chore thank u everyone xx

Heather- I got to be honest, I don’t think meal replacement is the answer, they are about 180 calories, and for a extra 70 so 250 cals, you can have something like muesli for breakfast and a egg or ham salad for lunch, that come packed with essential nutrients, however, I understand the want to try something different, so good luck 🤞🏻👍🏻

Thank u, Jamie ur right with the calories it is quiet high, with me it's portion control, and if I mess up with one thing I binge all day thinking ill start again tomorrow. With the slim fast it's one weight for the milk then 2 scoops and I have some fruit with it, it's like it's all portioned if that makes sense?? Xx
